The position will be responsible to provide electrical engineering expertise to the group consisting primarily of system, software, and V&V engineers.

 

Essential Job Functions

•         Provide EE expertise and support to staff consisting primarily of software system and V&V engineers.

•         Hands-on design and implementation of HW and FW

•         Concepts and new technologies demonstration over COTS boards such as Arduino and Jetson.

•         Ability to embedded code writing

•         Ability to work on architecture and requirements definitions

•         Ability to comprehend and debug circuits to the component level.

•         Use Orcad Capture or similar schematic drawing program.

•         Supervise electronic PC board design and layout. Convey written and verbal instructions to outside PCB layout consultants to ensure PCB layouts are adequate and correct.

•         Support Life Cycle Engineering activities.

•         Support V&V and system engineering activities.

•         Devise and perform tests to aid engineers in completing or evaluating designs.

•         Familiar with engineering documentation and procedures including ECO’s and validating design changes.

Knowledge/Educational Requirements for

•         5+ years of related experience in regulated industry.

•         Bachelor's degree or above Electronic Engineering.

•         Motivated, energetic, and able to work as a part of a team.

•         Familiarity with IEC 60601 Compliance for Medical Devices

•         Proven experience with embedded code writing

•         Proven experience with architecture and requirements definitions

•         Experience programming with C, C++, Python

•         Image processing background – advantage

•         Experience with laser devices – advantage
