Essential Skills to be a top contributor in this role

  • Manage month-end close processes and standardize procedures.
  • Prepare and facilitate monthly account reconciliations and optimize for further automation.
  • Post monthly accruals and corporate journal entries
  • Assist in analytics and review of financial information for accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial schedules.
  • Ability to document processes and identify key controls.
  • Assist with researching technical accounting complexities.
  • Execute special projects in short sprints.
  • Coordinate and prepare deliverables for annual audits with external auditors.
  • Strong attention to detail and well organized
  • Demonstrate written and oral communication skills

Background required for this role

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree (preferred)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 3+ years in private and/or public (Big4) accounting
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, Oracle a plus
