To assist and support in the day to day activities of the DC. To lead and mentor your team ensuring KPIs, standards and processes are fulfilled.

This is full-time position and flexibility will be required, the successful candidate will be contracted to work 5 days over 7, including weekends and night shifts. 


  • Working as part of team, delivering extraordinary service to both external and internal customers
  • To assist the DC Manager with the daily running of the DC and maintain excellent standards in line with Brown Thomas Arnotts’ standards and values
  • To assist with the coordination of daily in and outbound stock ensuring accurate administration and stock controls at all times
  • Drive a process of continuous review of all processes and procedures to ensure provision of timely and accurate reports relating to stock intergrity and performance levels
  • Delivery of Key Performance Indicators in accordance with business and contractual needs
  • Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP'S) and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
  • Maximising operational performance inclduing Pick Accuracy, Prodcutivity, Effeciency and Space Utilisation
  • Assist with pick and pack stations when necessary to ensure that KPIs are maintained
  • Drive continuous improvement and encourage team members to identify and implement effective change
  • Effective leadership and management of the operational and administration team members while adhering to all company processes and practices
  • Manage team absence and performance issues and escalate to management as required
  • To coach and mentor new and existing team members
  • Participate in the training of team members a e nd support with delivering team briefs
  • To support and update front line managers with daily briefs and relevant reports
  • Ensure all resources are in place to deliver quality service to the end customer
  • Deal with day to day customer/management queries and esnure that communication is prompt and transparen
  • Support with nightshifts when required, leading a team of agency staff
  • Observe and lead by example regarding all company policies and procedures, including DHL regulations
  • Utilisation of system to record and maintain accurate data and reports
  • To assist with any other duties required by Management

  • Experienced retail/ operations team member
  • Excellent knowledge of systems and analysing data
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment
