KNOW THE ROLE 

The HR Data Analyst role is a key role in the delivery of a best in class HR Service across Brown Thomas Arnotts; To provide support to HR, Payroll, Finance Group and all Team Members, through use of HRIS tools and data analysis , to develop a comprehensive suite of HR data analytics using Tableau and to support with key HR and HRIS projects. This is a full time, specific purpose contract.

Responsible for Operational HR and Reward Reporting

  • Run standard and ad-hoc reports as requested
  • Assist the Head of HRIS with data requests and ongoing strategic documentation from the Selfridges Group and Brown Thomas Arnotts Executive Team
  • Troubleshoot data to determine the root of a query from reports
  • Use your own research to identify data to be cleaned and make recommendations on enhancements
  • Propose changes to source processes with the aim of maintaining clean data

Develop and Launch HR Data Analytics

  • Design best in class leading HR analytics dashboards from multiple data sources to display data to HR, Executive Team and Management
  • Work with our HR Business Partnering team to embed a data driven, insight led mindsight within the HR Department
  • Bring external insights from research and networking to constantly refine the data analytics offering
  • Provide support with all HRIS project work
  • Manage the relationship with IT and any third party vendor supporting HR data analysis
  • Undertake ad hoc project work and other tasks as required

 

KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experienced using Tableau data analysis tools
  • Ideally experienced working in a HR or general data analyst role
  • A third level qualification in Data Analytics
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Well-established planning and organizational skills; able to multi-task
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Pragmatic with sound common sense
  • Attention to detail with high personal work standards
  • Proficient Microsoft PC skills (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative
