KNOW THE ROLE

The successful candidate will join the exciting and growing Brown Thomas Arnotts Concession Enablement team. You will be responsible for leading the project management activities relating to the technical on-boarding of Brown Thomas Arnotts concession brand partners. Utilising their project management, business analysis, technical and QA skills, the concession enablement team is responsible for the planning and execution of the technical on-boarding roadmap, of concession partners, to BTA store & online. Successful delivery of this program directly attributes to key commercial KPI’s for growth across both banners. Collaborating internally with cross-functional (Digital, Online, Enrichment, Buying, Innovation, Sales, DC, Business Controls, IT, Customer Services) teams and externally with concession partner commercial and technical teams, to achieve efficient technical integrations and deliver continuous improvements for existing concession brands. We have ownership of:

  • The end-to-end concession technical data journey including: product, pricing, inventory (fulfilment), enrichment
  • Concession technical messaging\documentation
  • Post concession on-boarding: Level 2 & 3 support, operational support

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Work collaboratively, as part of the Digital & IT team to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of projects on time and within budget
  • Clarify, document and understand key project requirements, considering all dependencies and implications
  • Execute the end-to-end delivery of a new concession technical onboard, ensuring any associated business change needs are identified and managed
  • Develop project critical paths and timelines, and manage project scope and requirements
  • Conduct project meetings and facilitate communication between key stakeholders and relevant areas of the business communicating project status, issues, risks, ensuring timely escalation when required
  • Establish and manage the policies and procedures for go live dates
  • Effective management of concession’s and their third party vendor relationships
  • Facilitate testing, quality assurance and feedback process, involving the proper reviewers and sign-off

KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have all or a combination of the following experience and skills:

  • You are an experienced project manager, and\or have experience in client success management (3+ years’ experience)
  • Preferably from an ecommerce, retail background
  • Strong, effective communicator
  • Enjoys the challenge of a fast paced environment
  • You’re a solutionist and commercially astute
  • Possess a detail-oriented, can-do approach and strong organisational skills
  • Have an excellent understanding of project lifecycles

The key experience required includes:

  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment with a goal-oriented approach
  • Experience leading and delivering successful projects on budget and on time
  • Experience building relationships with cross-functional teams with ease, delivering impact consistently through seamless communication
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal & communication skills – ability to explain, at ease, technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Robust problem solving skills – can overcome issues, propose solutions
  • Strong vendor & stakeholder management skills, with proven experience of same
  • Demonstrate a flexible & agile approach to work, with proven examples of this behaviour

Technical

  • 3+ year project & program management experience (PRINCE2\PMI qualification) with proven track record in delivering successful projects on budget and on time
  • Strong working knowledge of data integrations
  • Strong JIRA, Confluence, Office suite (Excel) skills
  • SQL experience (an advantage)
  • Testing\QA exposure
