The candidate will have a wide range of activities to support the Senior Investment Specialist.

Firstly, he/she will be asked to update all the marketing material as well as the reporting material for the range (with the Investment specialist’s support functions as help). He / She will promote the asset class through his/her ability to highlight the investment team’s DNA and our strategies’ key selling points to ensure effective knowledge transfer to sales. He / She will be instrumental in producing Flash updates to highlight market moves or events. He / She will produce research material needed to conduct various though leadership pieces to support sales in their efforts in promoting our range. We expect the candidate to have good knowledge of Fixed income markets in general. We expect the candidate to have leading interpersonal skill which will enable him/her to progressively interact with wealth management. 

Key responsibilities

  • Update and progressive take on of production of marketing material, quarterly reports for mutual funds and mandates, bespoke reports etc… 
  • Take a leading role in producing research content to draft thought leadership pieces (white papers) or market events pieces (Flash updates).
  • Progressively Lead the market intelligence to bring value added support to sales to increase penetration.  
  • Progressively lead the RFPs on the Investment specialist responsibilities. (Philosophy, process, positioning etc) 
  • Progressively become the point person for client written requests intermediated by sales. 
  • Contribute to our sales’ team knowledge on the asset class.  
  • Interact constructively with all other internal channels within AM to ensure a fluid business flow. (Including RFP, Fund creation, reporting teams, legal and compliance etc).

  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent power point / excel / word capabilities, capacity to work with Bloomberg / automatise tasks.
  • Good understanding of financial markets with a focus on fixed Income.  
  • Capacity to work under pressure and with discretion.  
  • High level of independence, initiative, reliability, innovation and integrity.
  • Social Intelligence.
