CHALLENGE:

As Buying Manager in the Apparel department, you will work at our Head Office in Porto, together with Buyers, Designers and Merchandisers, developing apparel collections for all Parfois’ global markets.

If you have a strong eye for commercial fashion trends, a clear understanding of apparel product development, and the ability to negotiate, plan and manage lead times — while continuously identifying new business opportunities — this could be the right challenge for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and support the Buying Direction in developing the brand’s apparel collections, ensuring samples are aligned with specifications and brand strategy
• Analyze trends and apparel category performance to provide actionable input for product development
• Source, negotiate and manage apparel suppliers, ensuring quality and on-time delivery

• Monitor daily reports (sales, stock, budgets, etc.) and take actions to optimize assortment and maximize sales

   

PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or Fashion-related fields
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in apparel buying
• Fluent in English
• Strong knowledge of the apparel fashion industry, materials, constructions and markets
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Organized, pragmatic and proactive
