Why are we recruiting?

Analytical and administrative support based in Geneva for our trucking (Road Freight Zero) and air quality (Alliance for Clean Air) initiatives

Road Freight Zero is a multi-stakeholder coalition of first-mover champions from across the value chain, finance and other experts, working together to fast-track zero emission heavy-duty vehicles and infrastructure toward a 1.5° trajectory by 2030.

Alliance for Clean Air brings together different sectors and organisation types to work through the barriers to action, and have a place for public-private partnerships to be developed to meet the World Health Organization guidelines for air quality and progress on the broader 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.


Primary responsibilities:

Research, content support and communications

  • Provide primary research and reporting support to the project lead
  • Write up notes from workshops and other relevant meetings including structuring, analysis and next steps
  • Support outreach efforts to community members as required
  • Draft strategic communications materials for engagement with internal and external stakeholders (such as newsletter updates and communication opportunities)
  • Use digital platforms and social media tools to support external communications strategies for community building, public-private sector networking and related events.

Programme design and stakeholder management:

  • Support workshop design and execution; Ensure the successful set-up of virtual events using Salesforce, TopLink and Zoom in coordination with technical teams.
  • Coordinate and register event participants using Events Digest and Marketing cloud.
  • Provide technical support for the smooth delivery of virtual events, including coordination of rehearsals, speaker briefings and the use of third-party tools for audience interaction.
  • Support the teams in managing constituent lists and ensuring data is up to date and coordinated
  • Support in the management of TopLink communications


Preferred requirements and experience

  • 4-5 years of relevant professional experience in project/program management
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills are important as the role requires regular touchpoints and close collaboration with knowledge/project partners and consultants across the globe
  • Demonstrated experience working within multi-stakeholder processes and public- private partnerships is desired
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to step back and ask the ‘why’ question is highly helpful
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of one or more languages can be preferred
  • Proactive, self-starting, with a positive and constructive attitude towards getting things done
  • Excellent time management skills
