USAID Georgia Green Economy Program

DT Global seeks highly motivated and experienced individuals interested in being considered for proposed positions for the upcoming USAID Georgia Green Economy Program . The purpose of this Program is to support the modernization of high - growth sectors of the Georgian economy that can provide substantial remunerative employment opportunities. Specific focus will be paid to improving the quality and environmental impact of high - growth sectors, in line with Georgia's international commitments regarding climate change and market standards. Priority sectors may i nclude so lid waste management, recycling , tourism, light manufacturing, and information communication technology (ICT).  

 

DT Global is seeking USAID professionals in the fields of:

  •           Chief of Party (COP)
  •           Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP)
  •           Director Finance and Operations (DFO)
  • Grants Management
  •           Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
  •           Gender, Equity, and Social Inclusion (GESI)

 

Long-term and Short-Term Technical Leads:

·   Competitiveness and Access to Markets : Increase the competitiveness of high-growth sectors, which may include solid waste management, tourism, light manufacturing, and ICT. Increase SMEs’ capacity to comply with international export standards and access new foreign markets.

·    Climate Change and Environmental Impact: Work with local stakeholders to reduce the environmental impact of high-growth sectors and increase the sectors’ alignment with Georgia's international climate change commitments.

·  Access to Finance : Support local stakeholders to catalyze investment in high-growth sectors, with a focus on increasing access to climate finance.

·         Business Enabling Environment: Work with government institutions and other stakeholders to strengthen the legal and regulatory framework for high-growth sectors.

·         Workforce Development : Support local stakeholders to develop a highly skilled labor force for high growth sectors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Senior-level Positions

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  • Preferred education: Master’s degree in a relevant field;
  •           Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in relevant field, preferably familiar with Georgia or similar context.
  • Experience leading donor-funded programs in similar context required; USAID project experience preferred;
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills required;
  • Fluency in English required;
  • Georgian nationals are highly encouraged to apply.

 

Mid-level Positions  

  •             Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  •           Preferred education: Master’s degree in a relevant field;
  •           Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in relevant field, preferably familiar with Georgia or similar context.
  •           Experience contributing to donor-funded programs in similar context required; USAID project experience preferred;
  •           Excellent written and oral communications skills required;
  •           Fluency in English required;
  •           Georgian nationals are highly encouraged to apply.
