The Role
Reporting to the Commodity Manager(s) within the Group Materials Segment, you contribute to the deployment of a performance-driven and risk-based sourcing strategy for spot purchases and sourcing gaps across various Group entities.
Your Responsibilities
In close collaboration with the Commodity Manager(s), you will:
- Contribute to the definition and deployment of commodity strategies aligned with business and customer requirements
- Manage sourcing activities including supplier identification, benchmarking, and market/product intelligence
- Lead negotiations and ensure processes compliance
- Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization and ensure savings delivery in line with budget (PPV control)
- Monitor and improve supplier performance (OTD, OQD, Lead-time, responsiveness)
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (industrial, financial, geopolitical)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality teams across Group entities
- Support supplier development initiatives and performance improvement plans
- Ensure structured reporting and support decision-making at management level

Your Profile
- Degree in Engineering or Business
- Proven experience in procurement (aerospace is a plus), from RFI to contract execution
- Technical mindset : Proven capability to understand, interpret and benchmark technical specifications (drawings, standards, materials), enabling effective supplier evaluation, cost analysis and risk assessment
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to operate in complex, multi-site and international environments
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
- Fluent in English
