Microsoft Active Directory Engineer - Contract

The Microsoft Active Directory Engineer is required to perform a review, implement changes and support services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise. Required to support policy configuration and enterprise-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities Include:

• Review Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO) and Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS)
• Review access to groups and applications
• Review the list of users and decide whether to approve or deny their continued access
• Perform analysis, discovery and implement solutions to assigned projects
• Excellent knowledge and hand-on experience with Windows Server Operating Systems - 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019
• Good knowledge on power shell scripting with AD modules or VB .Net and ability to write scripts as required
• Ability to manage multiple tasks as assigned

Required:

• 10+ years of experience relevant enterprise experience in managing Active Directory
• Third level IT qualification and/or Microsoft certification(s)
• ITIL V3/V4 with experience in writing change request and attending Change Advisory Boards (CAB) meeting
• Excellent communication skills, especially verbal and written
• Good documentation skills to write a design and configuration documents
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to interface with various stakeholders within the organisation
