The Microsoft Systems Engineer will be responsible for planning, design and implementing Microsoft solutions. Providing technical leadership and hands on delivery the Microsoft productivity offerings and promote innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience migrating and implementation solutions from a design, architecture perspective as it relates to Microsoft solutions. Experience required in migrating Active Directory and Exchange environments, understanding of the full suite of Microsoft Cloud, Office 365, Azure products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the design, implementation, maintenance, and design of Microsoft Cloud & Office 365 offerings
  • Gather and assess business requirements, develop and present solutions, produce design documentation
  • Align customer requirements for implementation readiness
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers
  • Participate in solutions development and presales for professional services and managed services offerings
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills to effectively automate the on premise and cloud services

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience working in a Microsoft systems and support role
  • Current Microsoft Certifications (MCSE Office 365 or Azure or Windows Server 2016, etc.)
  • Proven professional experience with Azure AD and Microsoft, Office 365, including configuration of tenant wide policies, ATP products, Intune, authentication and identity management and DLP
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 platforms including Intune, and Azure AD
  • Expert in Microsoft Active Directory and associated technologies (Group Policy, Kerberos, DNS, DHCP)
  • Exchange Server and Exchange online migration and deployment experience
  • Strong understanding of the latest Microsoft desktop, server, and cloud platforms
  • Strong ability to resolve business problems and process issues with the Microsoft\Office 365 technical platform
  • PowerShell scripting skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of migrating best practices, troubleshooting and project management
  • Ability to communicate at a highly effective level (English) both in a written and oral manner
  • Self-motivator, possessing a high sense of urgency and a high level of integrity

Powershell Scripting: Experience using modules for: O365, Exchange, Active Directory, AzureAD to create, update and manage objects via PowerShell

AD / Azure AD: Experience with hybrid environments - AD connect, syncing on premise AD with AzureAD. Experience working with MFA via conditional access policies

Office 365 / Exchange: Ability to implement, migrate and troubleshoot

Operating Systems: Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10.
