Senior Analytical Manager, Networked Data Lab  

£69,321 - £74,942 (dependent upon experience) per annum plus excellent benefits

Maternity cover contract (10 months)

Full time (37.5 hours per week; flexible working requests will be considered)

Our office is located at Salisbury Square, London EC4Y but we have moved to a hybrid way of working.  Details available upon request.

The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.

We are looking for a Senior Analytical Manager to provide overall leadership to the Networked Data Lab team within our Data Analytics directorate.

The Networked Data Lab provides national and local health system leaders with insights from data to take action in order to improve the UK’s health and care.   We are a collaborative network of analytical teams across the UK working together using linked datasets on key issues facing health and care services.

This is an exciting time to lead this initiative as the successful candidate will lead the final stages of the review of the first phase of the Networked Data Lab. 

The role is responsible for developing and communicating novel analytical research, identifying future priorities for the Networked Data Lab and overseeing delivery of a collaborative analytic research programme. The role leads a small team, as well as managing and maintaining relationships with our five local analytical partners, and building connections across the Health Foundation to ensure the NDL contributes to the corporate themes and priorities.

Our successful candidate will have a track record of developing programmes of analytical work in health care services or health policy and significant experience working with major datasets in health, ideally including large linked datasets and cross sector data linkage.

Qualified in a relevant subject and at an appropriate level, you will be able to identify, evaluate and develop novel projects within an existing strategy, be proficient in a range of statistical software and able to produce written work aimed at a variety of audiences. Equally important will be your team working ethos, flexibility, and adaptability.
