Workday Specialist  

( Amsterdam based is preferred) 

 

MSF Netherlands is currently in the process of migrating our HCM to Workday. For this implementation we are looking for an experienced Workday Specialist. 

 

About the position: 

The Workday Specialist utilizes functional HR knowledge combined with technical Workday experience to configure, maintain, and support the HR function. You are responsible for process improvements through optimal utilisation of an assigned platform (Workday), by management, development and maintenance of the functionality realised with it and by support of its end users. 

 

Where do you sit within the organisation? 

The Workday Specialist is a member of the ICT team and works closely with the departments using Workday, mainly HR. You report to one of the ICT coordinator and work closely with the business owners in the departments. 

 

This will be your main responsibilities: 

  • Implementation and Configuration - Analyze functional issues in Workday, recommend solutions, manage change, prepare documentation, and integrate with existing applications. 

  • Maintenance & Upgrades - Continuously evaluate and optimize Workday HCM, manage security, fix issues, train users, and implement necessary modifications based on feedback.

  • User Training & Support - Provide practical assistance and training for users.

  • Business Process Optimization - Create, set, and optimize business processes, evaluate current HR procedures, and suggest productivity improvements.

  • System Analysis and Reporting - Analyze data issues, recommend and prioritize solutions, and report resolution statuses to senior management.

 

About you: 

  • Higher vocational/ BSc/ MSc in computer science and/ or business IT  

  • 5+ years of experience in managing application development and implementation 

  • Workday Service Partner Certification or Customer certification (preferable in HCM),

  • Experience in participating in Workday delivery & support with a focus on Workday HCM module,

  • Experience in optimizing Workday HCM module processes,

  • HR functional experience,

  • Experience in preparing and executing EIB loads,

  • Cross Functional Knowledge with other modules of Workday. 

 

What we offer? 

In addition to working for an organization dedicated to helping those in need, where the work is fulfilling, we provide an employment contract based on a 40-hour workweek. It is a one-year contract with a renewal option. 

A gross monthly salary range between 4,085 and 5,624 euros. Your exact salary will depend on relevant work experience.
