Thanks to our sustained growth and increased focus on digitalization, we are looking to hire an Digital Asset Consultant. The position is based in Leuven (BE) or in Boxtel (NL), but the role will be very internationally oriented. You will support IPCOS in the further implementation of its growth strategy.

The Role: Digital Asset Consultant
As a Digital Asset Consultant, you will design, deliver, and support real-time data systems, enabling our clients to optimize their plant operations by integrating data from various sources, including control systems and cloud platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate IT/OT convergence, helping businesses utilize data more effectively, streamline processes, and ensure seamless integration between plant systems and business-level applications.

You will collaborate closely with clients in multiple industries, managing projects from start to finish. Some examples:
· Data Integration: Extract and integrate data from various plant to higher-level MES platforms, cloud solutions, and business intelligence tools.
· Real-Time Systems Management: Work with time-series databases like OSIsoft PI and AspenTech IP21 to handle critical sensor data (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow) and ensure high-frequency data extraction.
· Data Contextualization: Implement asset frameworks (AF) to make raw machine data comprehensible, enabling business users to derive actionable insights.
· Visualization: Develop dashboards and visual tools for both real-time and historical data using solutions such as PI Vision and AspenONE Process Explorer.
Profile
· You hold a degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Mathematical Engineering), or a related field with affinity for technology and data integration.
· You have 2-5 years of Hands-on experience with real-time data historians and MES platforms. (e.g. OSIsoft PI and/or AspenTech IP21.
· Experience with multiple systems and integration projects is highly valued.
· Other valuable experience:
o Experience with the Seeq platform is preferred
o Familiarity with data contextualization and asset frameworks.
o Understanding of operational technology (OT) and data integration.
· Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have):
o Development skills, particularly in .NET frameworks (C#) or Python.
o Understanding of OPC protocols for communication between control systems.
· Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and a strong drive to learn and innovate.
