The Role
The Finance Officer will work under the Senior Finance Officer (SFO) to maintain financial oversight of the Program’s day-to-day activities. This will involve accounts payable duties, reviewing and verifying invoices for correct authorisation, data entry into accounting systems, organising electronic funds transfers and cheques for payments based on appropriate supporting documentation, and reporting.

About You
· Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business.
· At least 1-3 years’ experience in financial management of projects.
· Ability to operate accounting software such as MYOB, Quickbooks, etc.
· Strong experience using MS Office software (Excel, Word, etc)
· Knowledge of Solomon Islands labour code and taxation laws.
· Excellent interpersonal and general communication skills.
· Ability to work with minimum supervision.
· Fluency in English (written and oral).
