About the Role

The Accountant will assist the Senior Financial Accountant in recording and monitoring all financial transactions, perform month-end closing tasks and assist in other special financial accounting-related requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

·       Prepare consolidated weekly cashflow forecast and analysis

·       Prepare various financial accounting reports within expected time frame

·       Prepare and post various month-end journals

·       Manage the Australia general ledger including balance sheet reconciliations

·       Complete balance sheet reconciliations of specific accounts across all Asia Pacific entities

·       Maintain the Fixed Assets Register

·       Maintain the IFRS16 Lease Register

·       Analyse and post intercompany invoices from and to other regions

·       Assist with intercompany reconciliation with other regions

·       Assist with any Philippines finance-related tasks

·       Work with various teams on reconciliations, requests and key deliverables      

·       Assist with interim and year-end audits

·       Identify, recommend and implement process improvement and automation opportunities

·       Undertake other duties as required.

About You

Essential Experience and Knowledge

•  Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• At least 3 years financial accounting experience
• Strong attention to details
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
