Materials and processes Engineer (M/F/X)

Your Mission :

Within the Material and Process department, the main tasks of the candidate will be to support various new projects, especially in the field of R&T, but not only. The candidate will be involved in several projects dealing with various materials and technologies including composites, bonding and metallic topics. Depending on the project, he will act as technical project leader or M&P focal point.

Your Profile : 

Your are Civil engineer in Materials Sciences/Mechanics., with at least 3 years of experience in a similar function. Technical project Management.

Required skills:

ü  Knowledge:

o   Composite technologies and materials

o   Surface protections and bonding

o   Metallic aerospace materials

o   Fasteners and assembly technologies

o   Very good knowledge of the physical and mechanical characteristics of composite and metallic materials

o   Good theoretical knowledge of material characterisation techniques

o   Good knowledge in mechanics of rigid and deformable bodies (“Résistance Des Matériaux”). Knowledge of composite structure calculation methods: classical lamination theory, failure criteria for composites…

o   Knowledge of the non-destructive inspection techniques;

o   General knowledge of materials and processes, fasteners and assembly techniques applicable to composite and metallic components.

ü  Computer tools: Microsoft tools, Teamcenter PLM, Planview, Catia software is an asset;

ü  Language: Fluent in French /English, good technical writing capabilities in English;

ü  Others:

o    Good notions of project management

o    Experienced in reporting (technical notes and engineering reports) and specification writing (M&P specifications, test specifications, …);

o    Good communication for team-work, dynamism, autonomy, interest for aerospace;
