Product Support Engineer (M/F)

Job description :

Within the Technical Directorate, the Technical Product Support department is in charge to support airlines for in-service aeronautics structures.

As a member of the team, your mission consists to calculate and design structural repair solutions, either on metallic or on composite structure, and to issue associated technical documents. You gather involved departments resources to develop innovative solutions and you define technical instructions. You will support all Sonaca products for the airlines through our main customers and also internally the Sonaca repair station.

After you have acquired sufficient experience, you will be part of a 24/7 support team ensuring continued support in turns.

Profile : 

- You are a (M/F) Mechanical/Aeronautical engineer. Experience in aeronautics environment (structural repair, …) and in fatigue & damage tolerance calculations is an asset.

- You are bilingual French/English and you have communication skills, in ease contact with customers. You have a synthesis mind and you can work as a team as well autonomously and are able to assume responsibilities and make decision in urgent situations. You are flexible and you show motivation to take up challenge.

- You have good knowledge in MS office tools and thorough knowledge in MS Excel & VBA. Knowledge in FEM software (SAMCEF/Nastran), Catia V4/V5 and Unix work stations are a strong  asset. You can read technical drawings.
