The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will lead the Productions Operations Team which is responsible for the smooth daily operations of GP Ecom Production Environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively manages availability, reliability and performance of environments devising and delivering on approaches to reduce incidents, MTTD and MTTR in efficient and effective ways
- Line & performance management responsibility for the team of Systems Administrators as well as being a hands on technical leader of the team
- Acts as an escalation point for critical tickets and service affecting issues confidently taking control of situations and leading to a successful resolution.
- Acts as a senior technical team member in the design, planning and implementation of technical projects and large BAU deliverables.
- Plans, reviews and leads the implementation of complex, high-risk changes.
- Coordinates key operational and project workload for the team ensuring timely completion in a progressive manner that biases lean approaches and continuous improvement.
- Coordinates the hiring process, screening and interviewing candidates for the team

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
- Experience in managing team(s) of Technical staff in a related discipline.
