Creative Director, Social

As a Social-First Creative Director at Grey London, you will take the lead in defining the creative vision and strategy for clients across various social media platforms. 

You will collaborate closely with the creative team, account managers, and clients to develop innovative and engaging content & ideas that resonates with target audiences in the digital space.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  •        Oversee the end-to-end creative process, from concept development to final delivery, ensuring high-quality output.
  •       Collaborate with designers, copywriters, videographers, and other creative professionals to produce engaging content formats (e.g., videos, graphics,         GIFs, memes), all optimised for each social media platform.
  •        Ensure brand consistency and adherence to style guidelines across all social media channels.
  •        Act as the primary creative point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and creative recommendations.
  •       Present creative concepts and campaign proposals to clients in a compelling and persuasive manner.
  •       Solicit feedback from clients and incorporate revisions to ensure alignment with their vision and objectives.
  •       Mentor and inspire members of the creative team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  •       Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help team members grow and develop their skills.
  •       Delegate tasks effectively, manage workloads, and ensure deadlines are met.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Proven experience in a creative leadership role within the advertising or marketing industry, with a focus on social campaigns and execution.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative campaigns developed for social media platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and platform functionalities.
  • Excellent storytelling and conceptualisation skills, with the ability to translate brand messaging into engaging content.
  • Proficiency in creative software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with social media management platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a creative team to achieve their full potential
