We are looking for an NPD Specialist Logistics Strategy who’ll be tasked with helping us to define BRP’s future logistics requirements for projects in development. As part of your role, you’ll be proposing the best logistics strategies for new product development by influencing various departments by means of business cases.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Influence the vehicle engineering teams, the purchasing group and any other teams involved in product development, to propose the best logistics strategies for production
  • Perform analysis aimed at optimizing the costs related to the transportation of parts, packaging, evaluation of the workforce as well as out storage capacity
  • Provide the logistical deliverables required by the NPD (New Product Development) process for the first phases of product development
  • Identify and analyze budgetary requirements of projects, prepare the necessary documentation to obtain them and follow through on project success.
  • Develop and coordinate a logistics validation plan for new parts during prototype vehicle assembly activities
  • Being on the pulse of technological and strategic industry best practices.

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations/Logistics Management or other relevant field.
  • Minimum of (3) years of relevant and significant experience (product development, supply chain management, manufacturing operations).
  • Increased knowledge of Excel software in order to perform data processing.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, both oral and written – advanced level
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and/or logistics (warehousing, transportation...)
  • Knowledge of modeling software - an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP (WM, MM, PP) - an asset.Ability to work as a team in a consensual decision-making model with multidisciplinary and multicultural partners.
  • Excellent ability to analyze various complex parameters while being able to synthesize and popularize information to various audiences.
  • Recognized leadership skills with the ability to demonstrate exemplary work rigor.
  • Great autonomy in the execution of his tasks and tenacity in managing several files simultaneously and delivering them "turnkey".
  • Creative mindset with a propensity for innovation and challenging the status quo.

Available to work 3 days/week at the office

1 day at Valcourt office, and 2 days at Montreal or Valcourt office

Available to travel to Mexico 2x per year
