We are looking for a Circular Economy specialist to join our BRP team in Ghent. As the circular economy expert at BRP, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the principles of the circular economy across our product lines, and identify opportunities for improvement, and implement innovative solutions that align with our commitment to environmental stewardship.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

 

      Lead and develop strategies to integrate circular economy principles into BRP's product lifecycle, supply chain, and business operations.

      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for waste reduction, resource optimization, and product refurbishment or recycling.

      Drive initiatives to enhance product durability, reusability, and remanufacturability, while minimizing environmental impact.

      Establish partnerships with industry stakeholders to promote circularity and sustainable practices throughout the value chain.

      Conduct research and stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in circular economy and sustainable business models.

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

 

      Bachelor's or advanced degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, Materials Science and Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

      Proven experience (5+ years) in circular economy, sustainable business, or related field, preferably within the manufacturing or automotive industry.

 

      Strong analytical skills and ability to assess environmental impacts, lifecycle assessments, and circularity metrics.

      Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.

 

      Passion for sustainability and a genuine commitment to driving positive environmental outcomes.

 

      Fluency in English and Dutch is required for this position, as it will involve communication with team members and stakeholders in both languages. Additionally, proficiency in any other EU languages would be considered an asset and is highly desirable.
