Aftersales Engineer

 

Reporting to the Customer Service Team Lead, the Aftersales Engineer is the key contact between the Dealer and Technical Hubs. You will also be responsible for supporting the dealers and consumers with communications and support for assigned products and services.

 

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

 

·         Support the regional customer service team with coordination and representation. Execute the roll out of the global and regional customer service process and policies.

·         Provide both remote and on-site assistance to our dealer network, addressing product-related concerns swiftly to guarantee satisfaction among dealers and consumers alike. 

·         Identify and document product issues, collaborating closely with manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.

·         Assess the technical training needs within the dealer network, contributing to the development and implementation of training programs. This includes both online and offline events, crafting training materials, and preparing facilities to enhance dealer capabilities.

·         Provide expert warranty guidance support through warranty registrations and claims process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

·         By addressing consumer product issues effectively, this role is instrumental in reinforcing our network and brand image, thereby maintaining high levels of achievement.

·         Collaboration with the parts department is crucial for monitoring key part supplies, ensuring that the requirements of both dealers and customers are consistently met.

·         Support local teams in product homologation tasks to facilitate timely product launches, cementing the commitment to excellence and market responsiveness.   

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

·         Minimum related work experience of 3 to 5 years.

·         Mechanical engineering background

·         Technical knowledge of automotive, motorcycle and after sales execution or customer facing experience

·         Experience in creating customer service and/or process and quality. 

improvements

·         Automotive, motorcycle OEM or dealership experience

·         Proficient English speaker both oral and written.

·         Excellent knowledge of MS Office and SAP, CRM

·         Problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.

·         Strong negotiation, communication, and business presentation skill
